When Sarah and I went to the zoo in December ?05 we saw that they were building a new section called ?The Asian Trail.? Ever since then I?ve been super excited to go see it! Well Samantha and I went on Thursday and we were thoroughly disappointed.

The first problem was that we didn?t see any animals! Yes I know its ?January? but when we went it was almost 70 degrees out. Also, these animals are the kind that stay out doors year round.

The only thing we did see from the Asian Trail was a baby panda sleeping in a tree and a sloth bear sitting Indian style, while staring at nothing! Needless to say, the whole thing sucked.

Now of course, being us, we still had fun, by making our own fun! When we first got there I said to her ?what if every animal in the zoo got out and started killing everyone but us?? So from then on, every time we did see an animal we would make up how it would escape. Then we would pick someone for it to kill and then finally we would create a really gory/scary way the animal would kill a person.

This little guy was a fatty! He was sitting on his hind legs and kept leaning forward and licking the class of the cage. I have no idea what kind of animal he is, but he was my favorite of the day. We decided his name was “Lardo” and that he killed little kids by deep frying them and then eating them.

Yes of course we are complete dorks. BUT the really odd thing is that about an hour into our game we passed these two hot girls and one of them said ?What if all the animals broke out and killed everyone but us?? ?I didn?t say anything to her, but now I?m worried she was my soulmate and I?ll never find true love until I meet her again.

Of all the animals we saw, the emu below was by far the scariest! It kept hissing at me and trying to peck me through the fence.
