I went out to dinner with Sarah over the weekend and the restaurant had fried alligator on the menu. I’ve had snake, snails, octopus… but never alligator. So I couldn’t resist ordering it. It was lightly fried and served with a raspberry sauce.

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. It just kinda was. It tasted a lot like pork and the crispy pieces definitely tasted like bacon. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be willing to eat it again, but at least I can say I tried it once.
