Heroes stealing from X-men?

It was finally revealed that the big threat on this season of “Heroes” is a deadly virus that will wipe out all of New York. However, some characters are hoping that Claire’s healing powers may lead to a cure for the virus.

…which is EXACTLY what happened in the old 90’s animated “X-men” show. In it the X-men were trying to find a cure for the Legacy Virus because if they didn’t it would kill all mutants. So to stop the virus, Bishop infects Wolverine with it. Wolverine’s healing power then manages to fight off the virus and the X-men then use the antibodies in his blood as a cure.

    Definately sounds similar.

    Of course Jeff Loeb already said that they ARE taking stories/ideas/characters from comics and incorporating versions of them into the show. His “excuse” was that this is a good way to introduce the non comic book reading masses to the stories, and those people won’t know the ideas aren’t original.
