Dude, I was so right back in Week 2 when I said there was something wrong with Skeets and then I was right again when I said Booster Gold wasn’t dead!

It turns out that in Week 6, when Booster visited that secret lab, he figured out something very important. Something in the future, something bad, was going to be his fault. He also realized that something was wrong with Skeetz. So he faked his death!

Now I’m guessing Booster is Supernova. I have several reasons for this. The biggest is that Supernova didn’t show up until after Booster entered the lab. Then, as I posted about during the week Booster died, Booster couldn’t have faked his death without Supernova’s help. So now I’m just excited to find out what exactly is wrong with Skeets and I want to know what Booster figured out about the future.

Speaking of Supernova, who showed up in this issue, he had an interesting scene with Wonder Girl. She approached him and made a move on him because she thought he was Superboy back from the dead. Of course he wasn’t. What I think is interesting is that I bet the only reason this scene was put in here is because fanboys online were saying “Supernova is soooooooooooo Superboy!” and stuff like that.

Other than the Skeets/Booster/Supernova Storyline, this issue spent several pages with Animal Man, Starfire, and Adam Strange. The trio landed on Lobo’s temple-ship/planet? Ok I don’t know what they landed on. But it is where Lobo rules over his church and speaks to his subjects.

From Lobo’s appearance in Week 17, I sorta pictured him as being like Zaphod Beeblebrox from “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” but it seems to me, and I can’t belive this is possible, that Lobo is actually more of a moron than Zaphod! That character just doesn’t’ make sense and he seems to exist just so the writers can throw in jokes.

We do however learn who the God/Being that put a hit out on Animal Man, Starfire, and Adam is. Of course I don’t’ know DC continuity so when they revealed who it was I just sort of shrugged.
