Helen McCrory will play Narcissa Malfoy in the film adaptation of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”.

For those of you uneducated in the ways of “Harry Potter,” Narcissa is sister of Bellatrix Lesrange (Helena Bonham Carter) and mother of Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton). Interestingly enough, McCrory was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange in this year’s “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” but had to pull out due to an impending pregnancy.

The sixth “Harry Potter” installment opens in theaters on November 21st 2008.
