Everyone and their mother is talking about super Tuesday. Politics, issues, blah blah blah… since I’m not really an issues type of guy this had me wondering, “hmmm I wonder what TV shows or comics the candidates would consider their favorite.” That thought led me to compile the list below. Answers with links in them are actual answers, the ones without links are my guestimation on what the candidate would say.

Hilary Clinton

• Favorite Sitcom: “30 Rock” because she relates to the very corporate/power-hungry Jack Donaghy
• Favorite Drama: “Big Love” because it’s just like her life.
• Favorite Comic: “Spider-Man: One More Day” because she vicariously lived through it while reading it.
• Favorite Super Hero: Scarlet Witch because of her ability to re-write continuity and to reshape reality is the power Hilary truly covets.
• Favorite Late Night Host: David Letterman because he makes less fun of her pant suits than anyone else.

Barack Obama

• Favorite Sitcom: “The Office” because it’s considered “hip” and all the young people seem to be doing it.
• Favorite Drama: “The Wire” because… well it actually is his favorite show.
• Favorite Comic: “Fun Home” because he believes in diversity.
• Favorite Super Hero: Michael Hundred (from “EX MACHINA”) because he’s a superhero AND a savvy politician.
• Favorite Late Night Host: John Stewart because it’s the only place young people get their news.

Mike Huckabee

• Favorite Sitcom: “The Andy Griffith Show” because he was hoping by mentioning it he would win the primaries in Florida.
• Favorite Drama: “Walker Texas Ranger” because Geico saved 15% by switching to Chuck Norris
• Favorite Comic: “X-Men” …because the concept of mutants further proves how silly the concept of ‘evolution’ is.
• Favorite Super Hero: The Blob because he’s worked hard to keep off all the weight he lost during M-Day.
• Favorite Late Night Host: “The Colbert Report” because Colbert is soooo up Hackabee’s butt.

Mit Romney

• Favorite Sitcom: “Everybody Hates Chris” because he loves the wholesome family values.
• Favorite Drama: “Lost” …it has “a very captivating plot, and if you live a busy life, escape is always welcome.”
• Favorite Comic: Marvel’s “Civil War” because issue six mentioned the formation of a Mormon Superhero team.
• Favorite Super Hero: Death from “Sandman” because the physical appearance of death is based off a real life morman.
• Favorite Late Night Host: “Last Call With Carson Daily” because he finds Carson to be dreamy.

Jon McCain

• Favorite Sitcom: “Seinfeld” …because he can’t help but to laugh every time Kramer is on screen.
• Favorite Drama: “24” …because secretly McCain wants to be Jack Bauer.
• Favorite Comic: “300” because it reminds him of the fashion he wore during his Vietnam days.
• Favorite Super Hero: Captain American because the old school Steve Rogers used to fight terrorist.
• Favorite Late Night Host: Conan O’Brien… I don’t have a witty reason or a link, but McCain has been on the show a billion times and hardly goes on any other late night show.
