The CW has decided that “Gossip Girl” will no longer appear online. In an attempt to boost the shows ratings the netlet has announced that new episodes won’t be found on iTunes or the CW website. However the first twelve episodes of the season will remain online.

OMFG “Gossip Girl”

Filed under: Gossip Girl, TV — Scott King at 10:56 am on Monday, April 14, 2008

That’s the new marketing poster from The CW for “Gossip Girl.” I have no problem with the fact that its a close-up of Nate and Serena having sex, but for some reason the “F” in “Oh My Fucking God” really irks me.

“Gossip Girl” Goes Gay

The “Gossip Girl” books have several gay and bi-sexual characters (google wikipedia if you don’t believe me). So it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that one of the males on “Gossip Girl” will soon be coming out (though it may or may not be one of the guys pictured above).

Word on the street is that Gossip Girl co-stars Blake Lively (S) and Penn Badgley (Dan) are a couple. Anyone else think this is soooo Adam Brody & Rachel Bilson-ish?

Guitar Hero 3 on TV

Filed under: Gossip Girl, TV — Scott King at 10:40 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2007

Guitar Hero must be more popular then I realized. Not only did “South Park” devote a whole episode to it last week, but “Gossip Girl” of all shows had a five minute segment devoted to the game!

“O.C.” reference on “Gossip Girl”

Filed under: Gossip Girl, TV — Scott King at 10:52 pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Did you catch the reference to “The O.C.” in tonight’s “Gossip Girl?” At the masquerade ball, Serena was dancing with a guy who said, “…Every time we see their yacht it makes me want to pull out our air horns and let them rip. It’s almost enough o make you not want to summer in Newport again.” Of course just mentioning “Newport” and “Summer” could just be a coincidence… except for the fact that “Gossip Girl’s” Executive Producer Josh Schwartz was the creator of “The O.C.”

Man, I miss Seth and his sail boat summer as well as the very hot Rachel Bilson who was “Summer.”    :sigh:

Kelly Bishop on “Gossip Girl”

Filed under: Gossip Girl, TV — Scott King at 6:31 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Kelly Bishop, the grandmother from “Gilmore Girls” might be joining the cast of “Gossip Girl.” Bishop’s agents has been talking to executive producer Josh Schwartz. The role she is up for is the grandmother of Serena who is a bitchy-high-cultured socialite. Sounds like the part is perfect for Bishop!

“Gossip Girl” has been picked up for a full 22 episodes. Not only is this The CW’s first pick up of the year, it’s the first show of the season to receive a full order out of all the major networks. Man I just can’t wait to see how this catty game between B and S plays out (That’s Gossip-Girl lingo for you non-fans).
