J.R.R.'s new Novel

For years, Tupac has been releasing song after song, even though he’s dead. So I find it fitting that the very deceased J.R.R. Tolkien is releasing a new unpublished novel, “The Children of Hurin.”
The novel was put together by Christopher Tolkien, J.R.R.’s 82 year old son and was J.R.R.’s first novel that was never published. It was first written in 1918 and excerpts of the novel have been published in other books, but this will be the first time the whole novel has appeared in print.
"It has seemed to me for a long time that there was a good case for presenting my father's long version of the legend of the 'Children of Hurin' as an independent work, between its own covers," Christopher Tolkien said in a press release.
The book is supposed to be released in 2007 and took Christopher over 30 years to put together from various drafts and notes left by J.R.R.
