Heroes Comic Book

Every week, after a new episode of “Heroes” airs, NBC posts a mini-comic on their website that takes place in the Heroes-Universe. So far three comics have been posted and two were really lame.
But the third one is interesting.
It focuses on Hiro. The first thing that I found shocking was that he rips up an issue of “Action Comics #1.” I’m sorry but I can’t imagine ANY comic-book reader doing that. It’s just so over the top. It’s also odd that he keeps it in a chest and doesn’t use a sleeve or anything else to protect t.
But even with that happening, we also learn that the reason his mother named him “Hiro” was because his grandfather died at Hiroshima. We also learn that the reason he’s so motivated to be a hero and to use his powers for good is because he doesn’t want any family to be broken like his was after Hiroshima. That’s why he’s so adamant about stopping the nuclear bomb from going off in NYC.
I was actually surprised that they shared so much character motivation in the online comic as opposed to the actual show.
Ratings Note: “Heroes” did 8.1/12 last night. Those are decent numbers and an increase from its ratings last week (7.6/11) so its no surprise that NBC already picked it up for a full season.  I’m sad that “Studio 60” only did 5.8/9 and I’m worried it’s going to get canceled.

The first couple of eps of Studio 60 were good, but after that it just seemed like the same ep over again and again. I was worried about that, and I think that's what's happening. I'm kind of bored with it now.
