Monk meets his Dad
USA sent out press release today saying that Dan Hedaya will guest star on “Monk” playing Monk’s father. This is really odd because the character has been talked about for five seasons, but has never appeared.Since meeting Monk’s father is such a special occasion, USA is running the episode on Nov. 17 as a “Christmas Special.” The plot has Jack Monk show up at Christmas party asking his son for help, even though the two have not seen each other for 40 years.
