Veronica Mars
This is Piz. He’s the new guy on “Veronica mars.” He’s totally going to be shaking it up with Veronica and I’m happy about that. Basically he’s like a dumber but sweeter version of me.
The first episode of the season was good. It was like hanging out with old friends you’ve not seen in a while.
I am a little disappointed that instead of one big mystery that will last the full season they are doing 3 mini-mysteries that are lasting like 8, 7, and 9 episodes. But I have faith in Rob Thomas.
As to the rapist storyline from last year, it's obviously the first big mystery. It was also obvious that Parker was going to get raped.
It also bugged me that the TA for the class was the same actor who played Lucky last season, James Jordan. It was slightly distracting that they brought him back. Even with the long hair and glasses I could tell it was him. It's also obvious that Piz's RA and Veronica's teacher are going to be re-occuring characters.
Now before I get more negative I want to remind everyone that "Veronica Mars" is tied for my favorite show on TV. WHAT was up with Veronica??? She was like over the top. She's a smart ass and she has a strong sense of humor, but in this episode it was too much. Maybe it can be justified because she doesn't have any drama in her life. No one is trying to kill her. She has a boyfriend and is happy. So maybe that's it. ...its just... I dunno. it felt wierd.
