Welcome to Atomic County, Bitch!
I just finished watching “Atomic County,” which I downloaded off iTunes.
The cartoon is based off the fictional comicbook from “The O.C.” Characters that appear in it: Trey, Luke, Anna, Zach, Alex, Julie, Caleb, Oliver, Johnny, Sandy, Seth, Summer, Marissa, Ryan, and Taylor!
Also, a lot of the characters from “Atomic County” bust on their “OC” counterparts. Like Johnny turns into a supervillian after Marissa won?t date him. The funny part: he can?t stop crying and his powers are acid tears!
Even though each episode was only like four minutes long, if you are a fan of “The O.C.” you really gotta check it out. They are on iTunes, V-Cast, and I’m sure you can find them on You Tube or somewhere else online.
The mini-episodes were co-produced by Eric Wright the comic book artist who designed the characters for “The O.C.” Although there aren?t any plans for a full “Atomic County” comic, Wright did draw a three page mini-comic that ran in TV Guide:

Do you know whether atomic county is going to be released as an actual comic?

I emailed the artist Eric Wight several months ago and asked him the same thing. He told me that right now Fox owns the rights to the characters and he isn’t even alloed to draw them, unless it is for the show. He also said that there were no plans for an actual comic book or graphic novel, but he did suggest checking out the cartoon.

Hey just Shazzy and Titch here, found this place cos we couldn’t member Marissa’s name in the Atomic County graphic novel/comic and at a loss cos seris 2 aint here and it bugging me (Shazzy), we decided to look online so thanx guys you have been a help.
Love the show and love the idea of the comic book/graphic novel. Thought it was kewl.

Johnny Tears-Johnny (I think that’s all they call him)

And I don’t think they gave Trey a name.
