Sometimes called saucer peaches or saturn peaches, they are a special treat and if you ever come across one you should try it!<\/p>\n<p>In my experience it&#8217;s best to get donut peaches fresh from orchards or fruit stands. Donut peaches from grocery stores don&#8217;t really hold up. If you get a good one, it will be one of the sweetest fruits you will ever try. They almost taste candied with a hint of almond as if they weren&#8217;t naturally grown on trees.
