Mostly because there was no fall. From like September through mid-December it was on par with what I would say was September in Maryland. It was sometimes chilly but trees didn&#8217;t loose their leaves and everything was green. It was like this weird stasis between summer and fall without actually being in either season.<\/p>\n<p>Late December to the start of February was &#8220;winter-ish.&#8221; We got below freezing once and maybe about 15% of the trees lost their leaves. Now however, everything is budding, flowering, and it&#8217;s been pretty toasty.
