I had tried shooting this with a soft box but there was a weird color temperature thing going on with the flash and the hue of the chocolate so I moved to our bay window and shot this using natural light and reflectors.
I had tried shooting them with both a plain black and plain white background but the photos felt too cold and sterile instead of fun so I switched to a green cutting board with a red saran wrap.
My biggest regret is that there aren’t more dots on the pops. If I ever shoot similar cake pops again I want them to be completely loaded cause the bald spots annoy me.
