This is the Hudson River shot from the Poughkeepsie Walking Bridge (click the photo to enlarge it). Poughkeepsie is about an hour and a half north of Manhattan and this was another one of the stops we made last year during our fall foliage tour.
Poughkeepsie is at the fringe of the Catskill mountains and the whole region was simply beautiful in late October.
